body / fight / time is a new full length work from Malia Johnston, award winning choreographer and Artistic Director and Chief Choreographer of the internationally acclaimed World of Wearable Arts, co-director and dramaturge, Emma Willis and Footnote Dance.
Emerging from ideas of the body under attack, body / fight / time playfully explores images of collision, impact and conflict, creating a powerful and engaging work based on how our bodies define us.
Set to brilliant music by long time collaborator, composer and musician, Eden Mulholland, and including stunning audio visuals, body / fight / time promises to be a dynamic performance. Their last work, Dark Tourists, provoked controversy at its premier at the 2007 Auckland Festival and went on to win Best Dance at the 2008 Wellington Fringe Festival.
