Chloe Klein

Chloe has been working as a freelance arts Producer for the past 5 years, producing independent contemporary dance projects in theatres, art galleries, and public spaces, both as standalone seasons as well as part of Auckland Arts Festival, Auckland Fringe Festival, and Matariki Festival. Graduating with a Bachelor of Dance Studies (Hons), Chloe started producing dance works at Basement Theatre (Fabricate, Look at Me, MEA TAU, How we Tessellate) and Q (Everything Anyone Ever Wanted), before completing the Arts Regional Trust producer training programme - PULSE in 2016.

Chloe is currently festival Producer at Tempo Dance Festival, where she has been since 2017. Throughout her time at Tempo she has worked with a wide range of artists, audiences, and genres, including international companies, both emerging and established New Zealand artists, arts/dance-going, and non-traditional arts/dance-going audiences.

Chloe currently works with experimental contemporary dance collective SOFT co. (HEALR, INFLATED REBEL). Her areas of passion are works that ignite the human desire for resonance, collaborative working relationships, and an approach that seeks genuine audience development and engagement. In 2018 she completed her Masters of Dance Studies (First Class) from the University of Auckland.
